Recruitment and retention of staff can be challenging, and more employers are finding that mental health problems in the workplace have increased. We aim to help people who have recovered from a period of mental ill health to get back into work.
We are seeking local employers who are passionate about supporting their local community by giving people a chance.
Our work placement scheme, Employ Well, matches job hunters with businesses and organisations in their local area.

How does it work?
Work placements last between 1 day and 2 weeks. The aim of the placement is to give the job hunter some valuable experience in their chosen area of work.
The employer can also benefit in the following ways:
- An extra pair of hands to help out during a busy period
- Not sure what type of staff you’re looking for? This gives a chance to test new roles before you advertise a vacancy
- Supporting your local community may fit with your organisational goals and could be attractive to new staff or customers
Work placements are free and there are no obligations – you can decide on the length of the placement and what it will involve.
All you need to do is give us the details and we’ll find someone to match – simple!
You’ll have your own personal employment specialist who will be your main point of contact throughout the process. If any problems should arise during the placement, the employment specialist will be there to help sort things out quickly.
If you’re looking to hire new staff, we can also help to fill vacancies. We can advertise your job free of charge within our extensive network to find suitable candidates for you. We can even help with shortlisting and interviews if needed.
