What is Work Well?

An information resource for people who are unemployed or having difficulty at work.

What do we do?

We provide three services:

  • One-to-one employment coaching for people who are using services at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.  You need to be referred to this by your therapist or care coordinator.  Further details can be found here.
  • A free confidential advice line for anyone who is unemployed or has a work-related problem.  You can contact the advice line by clicking here or calling 020 3228 2471.  You will receive a call back within 48 hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Free information, advice and templates for anyone to use, developed by our clients and employment specialists.  Click here for articles and printable templates.

Who are we funded by?

We are part of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.  We are funded by the NHS.

What is our aim?

We aim to help people who have been affected by unemployment or work-related problems as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.  Our goal is to provide free accessible information to help people make informed decisions about work and to improve their wellbeing.

Are we a mental health service?

No, Work Well is not a mental health service.  However we work closely with mental health professional at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, as our key priority is increasing wellbeing and improving lives.
